Am ajuns la capitolul chiar inainte de cel cu nunta, de ziua lui Harry. All I can say is, I slammed the book shut when I read:

Nu de alta dar nu ma puteam stapani sa nu rad. It was a nice moment, dar totusi, how she put it...

Am ajuns la capitolul inainte de Gringotts, and all I can say is:

Harry's a godfather!

Now I passed the book to karin, cause she needs to read until there too, so we can do the most impossible thing and guess the end :-P

But I have one question: was there a mention about Snape's patronus in any of the other books, and if yes, what was it?

We did our best, we talked, we tried, but it's not possible to know the end because there are too many things to consider. So we only picked on things that seemed important:

Ariana:
She can't be a squib so she's either dangerous to others or she's in danger, that's why Kendra is hiding her. Also: "where your treasure is there will your heart be also" huh? I think it's somewhat important. but for who? and the lines of Dumbledore and his brother: my sister is too frail for school. Maybe it wasn't a lie.
Aunt Petunia:
She wanted to tell Harry something before she left, and she seems to know a lot about the wizards world, even though she despises it. So what is she hiding?
Snape:
Snape's actually good [yaaaaaaay for me cause I KNEW it], and his patronus is a doe. [confirmed by rocket] Even though Karin is like: how weird can this guy be? I mean, his patronus is changing after the person he loved and killed! [meaning Lilly, as the doe]
Lupin and Tonks are going to die [confirmed by rocket but still :weep:

The blue eye in the mirror:
We suspect Dumbledore's eye to be in the mirror, but that would be to obvious, so we go with someone who Dobby would trust. But we can't make a list of people with blue eyes for our lives so... bummer. To quote karin: daca poarta kontaktlinsen [lentile de contact] arunc cu cartea dupa cineva! We were thinking about Grindelwand, but I think the blue eye will make another appearance until the end of the book, and the guy is dead after all.
The Hallows:
Now I don't know about you, but I think the wizard does somewhat make the wand. And I don't believe Dumbledore actually left them the ring in the snitch, nor do I think that the ring holds the stone that can bring back dead people. But I do believe that there's a truth in that kids story.
The Snitch:
"I open at the close" maybe Harry has to let go of his old familly [cause they're dead now] and make/accept a new one.
Godrics Hallow:
Godric Gryffindor and Deathly Hallows-> Godrics Hallow. Weird.
The Goblin in Gringotts:
I actually believe the Goblin thinks Harry is a "weird" enough wizard to let him go with the promise he'll bring the sword back.
Draco:
Nearly everyone in this last book changed somehow so I think so will Draco. He has to choose a side now, considering he was such of a wimp so far: good or bad?
The toombstone:
The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death" Huh? What, they're going to destroy the veil? This choice of words is actually even more confusing than "neither can live while the other survives"
Harry is NOT going to die, and I knew that before it was confirmed.
Horcruxes:
Karin thinks the last horcrux, the one that is unknown, is the sword. But if you ask me, they'd take to much to find something to destroy the sword. So I don't think it really is. And for it to be Harry, that would be much to unlikely. Didn't it say it can only be objects somewhere?
The last battle will be lead at Hogwarts. Every other book was conected to it in some way, so why not this one?
As for who Harry will finally get together with, I'd hate for it to be Ginny, mainly because I don't like the actress, but if you think about it, Harry's parents fell for each other in school, so I think the possibility is very high.

Ok, well that's about it. we didn't really fight much. We were kinda swirling from one idea to the other so we didn' concentrate much on one thing at a time. It's kinda hard to do anyhow, considering there isn't much info to go with, because J.K. is coming up with much info from the past, a past she hasn't mentioned before, thus tricking us somehow. But on the other hand, we were right about the locket, and about R.A.B. So we should be right on some points here too, now shouldn't we?
